Free YouTube Comment Analyzer — Sentiment, Word Cloud & Top Comments

Analyze any YouTube video's comments instantly. Get sentiment breakdown, top comments by likes, most active commenters, and an interactive word cloud. Free, no signup.

Skycally's YouTube Comment Analyzer fetches up to 100 comments from any public YouTube video and transforms them into clear, visual insights. Paste a YouTube URL or video ID and instantly see the overall audience sentiment, the top comments by like count, the most active commenters, and an interactive word cloud highlighting the most discussed topics.

Sentiment analysis uses keyword and emoji matching to classify each comment as Positive, Negative, or Neutral — displayed as color-coded progress bars showing the percentage breakdown of all fetched comments. This gives content creators, marketers, and researchers a fast reading of how an audience is responding to a video without manually reading hundreds of comments.

The word cloud is interactive: click any word to instantly filter and read all comments containing that word. This makes it easy to investigate specific topics — click 'camera' on a review video to read all comments mentioning the camera quality, or click 'price' to see what commenters are saying about pricing. The top 5 comments by like count surface the responses other viewers found most valuable.

All comment analysis happens locally in your browser. The tool relays the video ID through a lightweight Cloudflare Worker to fetch YouTube's public comment thread, but no comments, personal data, or analysis results are stored anywhere. Refresh the page and the data is gone — there is no account, no history, and no tracking.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many comments are fetched?

Up to 100 top-level comments per video — the most relevant ones returned by YouTube's public API, typically sorted by relevance.

Why are some videos showing 'Comments are disabled'?

The video owner has disabled comments on YouTube. There is nothing for the tool to fetch in that case.

Can I analyze any YouTube video?

Yes — any public video with comments enabled. Private videos and videos with comments disabled cannot be analyzed.

How is sentiment calculated?

Each comment is matched against curated lists of positive and negative keywords and emojis. The dominant signal determines whether the comment is positive, negative, or neutral.

What does the word cloud show?

The word cloud shows the 20 most frequently used words across all fetched comments, excluding common stop words. Larger words appear more often. Click any word to filter comments containing it.

Is any data stored?

No. Comments are fetched on demand, analyzed in your browser, and discarded when you leave the page. No accounts, no history, no tracking.

What is the most active commenter?

The Overview section shows the commenter who posted the most comments in the fetched batch — useful for identifying power users or spam accounts in a comment thread.

Does this work for Shorts and live stream replays?

Yes. The tool accepts any YouTube URL format including Shorts (youtu.be/...) and live stream replays, as long as the video is public and comments are enabled.
