No math is required — just clear reasoning and a little patience.
Our online Sudoku generates a fresh puzzle every time you start a new game, with three difficulty levels to match your skill. Use the built-in notes feature to pencil in candidate numbers, tap a hint when you're stuck, and try to beat your best time on each difficulty. Everything runs in your browser — no sign-up, no ads, no downloads.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do notes work?
Tap the ✏️ Notes button (or press N) to toggle note mode. While active, tapping a number on a selected cell adds or removes that digit as a small pencil mark instead of placing it as the final answer.
How do hints work?
You get 3 hints per puzzle. Select an empty (or incorrect) cell and tap the 💡 button to reveal the correct number for that cell. Use them wisely — they don't refill until you start a new game.
What's the difference between Easy, Medium and Hard?
Easy puzzles start with 45 given clues, Medium with 35, and Hard with 25. Fewer clues means more cells to deduce, requiring more advanced solving techniques.
Can I play with the keyboard?
Yes. Use the arrow keys to move between cells, type 1–9 to place numbers, press Backspace or Delete to clear a cell, and press N to toggle note mode.
